Selena Gomez has been named one of EW’s Rising Stars to Watch in 2009. She’s making all kinds of lists! Earlier this week, she made Teen Vogue’s Best Dressed List.
Why are they saying she’ll be big in 2009? There are two main reasons. One, she’ll be starring in the Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program with BF Demi Lovato. The second reason is because she’ll be releasing an album of rock-influenced pop, most likely next summer.
Selena also has a Wizards of Waverly Place movie coming out. Needless to say, this rising star has a lot going on!
