Here’s the new stills from Sonny with a Chance’s one-hour special Episode “Sonny With A Secret”.
in the next episode, When Sonny returns to her hometown high school for Home coming, someone on set begins to spread rumors that Sonny (Demi Lovato) is a thief, causing her reputation to deteriorate and she is ultimately asked to leave the show. Unable to clear her name, Sonny drives cross country to Wisconsin with Tawni (Tiffany Thornton), who turns out to be a surprisingly good friend.
Meanwhile back in Hollywood, Chad (Sterling Knight), Nico and Grady discover the truth.

“Sonny With A Secret” premieres SUNDAY, July 18 @ 8:30PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Disney’s HSM Replacer– ‘Prom’

Variety is reporting that Disney is developing another High School Musical like movie called “Prom”. They are considering casting complete unknowns in the business. Again, similar to HSM, which shot the stars of that film into fame.

“Prom,” which is not expected to be a musical, had initially been put in development while Oren Aviv was still president of production at the studio and Sean Bailey was brought on board as a producer. The studio is still keen on the project, which has the potential to launch a new franchise, now that Bailey has replaced Aviv and inherited the project.

But Disney is considering several creative and financial directions before giving the pic a greenlight.

Early plans had “Prom” being produced for around $5 to $10 million and featuring fresh faces. The studio had been encouraged by “HSM’s” ability to launch new stars like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu, virtual unknowns at the time. The third installment earned $163 million at the worldwide box office in 2008, and was made for around $15 million. But Disney is keeping its budget and casting options for the nine lead roles open until it reads Wech’s script.

The cast of the music-filled adventure “StarStruck” – Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Danielle Campbell, Chelsea Staub and Maggie Castle — and a unique tour guide character named Saralou, (played by Tiffany Thornton) take viewers on a double-decker bus tour of the movie capital of the world, in a Hollywood-themed, school holiday weekend that marks the premiere of the SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Featuring special appearances by Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin, Allisyn Ashley Arm and Doug Brochu, the StarStruck Tour interstitials begin Friday, February 12 and provide facts about Hollywood landmarks including Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Sign, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood High School and Hollywood Walk of Fame.
