Pretty Little Liars Season Three Kicks Off June 5th!

In the premiere episode, A summer has passed since Aria (), Emily (), Hanna (Benson) and Spencer () found out about Mona (Janel Parrish) being “A” and Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) death. With the terror seemingly over and an alleged murderer now behind bars, the town of Rosewood is slowly healing from old and new wounds and trying to get back to normalcy.

Each of the four girls spent their summer in different ways – Aria taking a photography class, Spencer taking college courses at Hollis, Hanna taking cooking classes with Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and Emily building houses in Haiti.

But what looks normal for each girl is not necessarily so, as all four are hardly over what happened. With post-traumatic stress, anger and the acquisition of more secrets the four Liars are anything but fine. Now all back together and coming upon the second anniversary of Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) disappearance, the girls find themselves back on the defensive when a shocking event rocks Rosewood.

In this episode, After being pushed around, threatened and more by “A,” Emily () is at a breaking point and her friends know that something drastic has to be done to save her. The girls turn to the only person they have come to trust and know that she can’t let their secrets out – Dr. Anne Sullivan (Annabeth Gish). Finally being able to reveal the torment that “A” has put them through to someone outside of the tight-knit group gives the girls a sense of relief and Emily (Mitchell) a new sense of courage.

But with the cat being out of the bag, has a weight really been lifted off their shoulders, or could it possibly have just provoked a beast? And now that Dr. Sullivan (Gish) is aware of “A” and what the girls have been put through, could she be next on “A’s” target list?

Meanwhile, Hanna’s () grandmother comes to town to stir up trouble for Tom’s rehearsal dinner.

In this episode, Aria () finds herself in a difficult position when trying to process Spencer () and Emily’s () news about Jason (), while dealing with what happened at the park and her undeniable feelings for him. In this episode, Emily () has been juggling a lot of secrets and lies lately, and with a surprise visit from her father before a big swim meet, the pressure gets to be too much for her – sending her to the hospital. But with the prospect of having to come clean to her father about Danby, Emily realizes she has bigger problems when “A” reveals his/her part in Emily’s swim career.

While visiting Emily (Mitchell), Spencer () and Aria (Hale) take the opportunity to try and do more digging around about the cause of Alison’s death and how the broken field hockey stick may play a part in the last few moments of their friend’s life.

Meanwhile, Hanna () struggles with the prospect of losing both men in her life when her father’s wedding “Save the Date” arrives, and the possibility of Caleb running out of Rosewood before his past can come back to haunt him.

And when Toby (Keegan Allen) makes a surprising discovery, Spencer () is thrown for a loop by the find and her father’s reaction to it. With the girls already on edge, could they be sitting targets for “A’s” next move? Or does “A” have bigger plans for the four and is just making them wait?

Meanwhile, Aria is put in a tricky position when both Ezra () and Jason () are invited to the Montgomery dinner party and vie for her attention when the soiree goes awry.
